Sue Taylor and Craig Schmidt are both are officially running for the EID Board of Directors. Sue is running in our DIV 1(Pollock Pines, Camino and Diamond Springs) to oppose and hopefully FINALLY replace George Osborne who has never really worked to represent the ratepayers of this District. Sue has a long history of working to retain the area rural character of our area. Craig Schmidt is a fiscal conservative and is running to replace Raffety in DIV 3 (Placerville, Coloma) who has broken all of his promises by continuing to rubber stamp approve nearly all proposed projects leading to ongoing rate hikes, including a 17% increase next year alone. Congrats to Alan Day who is running unopposed and will remain the DIV 5 director. So much can finally happen with a board majority that will put current ratepayer interests first and we are really excited about it. Tell your friends. Your vote in November couldn’t be any more important to rein in EID’s outrageous spending designed to support the developers in our county. SAVE THE CANAL needs your vote.
